Dyslexia testing is the first step in understanding your child’s learning difficulties. Therefore, to help you understand your child’s cognitive abilities I conduct a comprehensive assessment that adheres to and conforms to standard, sanctioned methodologies for assessing dyslexia in children. Overall, these tests are highly reliable for assessing the degree of dyslexia. This assessment takes several hours to perform, and will give us qualitative and quantitative results that we can use to determine the degree of your child’s learning difficulty.

 

The assessment tests virtually all aspects of your child’s reading, spelling, drawing, and math abilities. The assessment uses a visual symbolism to assess these cognitive abilities of your child.

 

After administering the assessment I will compile a comprehensive report for you that outlines your child’s degree of dyslexia. I will go over the report with you in person to help you understand the results, and answer any questions you may have about it.
